Owned by Atty. Dominador D. Buhain, the owner of Rex Bookstore Inc. , the Inn opened it's doors May 2009.

It has 5 Air Con rooms and 2 fan rooms

Hotel Dining Area. 

Parallel to the lobby is Lunch Box, DDD's restaurant. However, the restaurant is not operational during off season.

They serve breakfast (Php150.00/Pax), lunch and dinner (Php250.00/Pax) upon request. (3 viands+rice)

Pros:

Quick email response. They were actually the first one to reply on our reservation Inquiry, so they got our Business.

We decided to book a pre arranged Batan Island tour and Sabtang Tour in Batanes. I checked a good number of tour providers-DDD offered the most affordable rate. They would even offer you options to choose from to make their already affordable offer even more affordable, which is great!

We booked a Fan Room (Twin Sharing) for 600Php/Night. 

The room has a small TV and, though it's a fan room, it's equipped with a small air conditioning unit.

The rooms were fairly clean. (Housekeeping upon request)

Because of all the flight cancellation, there were a lot of last minute changes on our tour and accommodation plans. But they openly accommodated our requests. 

They have a Manila number, which makes it easier to contact them. 

After our flight got canceled, we returned to DDD and  stayed for 2 more days, during which, we were upgraded to an air conditioned room with a view of the rolling hills and the light house. Our rate? Still 600Php per night! =) (Probably because there were limited guests at the time)

The hotel personnel, Ate Monica, was very nice. She made us so comfortable that we felt really at home at DDD. 

Cons:

Though it was sunny in Batanes even with tropical storm Pedring and Quiel, there were days when the winds were so strong. And you would really feel how strong it was because the sliding windows kept shaking and rattling. I thought it would come loose.

Do not expect much from their comfort rooms. Attaching the toilet seat back on the bowl and a bit more tile scrubbing wouldn't hurt. But hey, with the upgraded room and 600Php a night rate, who's complaining?

Mosquito repellant is a must.

Note:

The food can still be improved in quality and quantity considering it's price.

Overall, the Pros definitely outweighs the Cons. So if you are budget conscious, then this is the place to stay. For a budget accommodation, you would definitely get more than what you bargained for.
